Some of our service work recently have included:
Assisting at: Mt Ommaney Special School, Jindalee and Jamboree Heights school fetes with manpower.
Enjoyed an afternoon, performing a Play/Skit at James Ommaney Retirement Village.
We run the barbecue every year for the Friends of the Brain Injured Children Fun Walk.
Clean up at St Gabriels Early intervention Centre for Hearing Impaired Children.
We Raise funds by:
Holding Raffles at local shopping centres.
Marshalling for Weetbix Kids Triathlon, and other fun runs.
Our biggest fundraiser is our Santa sleigh, which travels through the streets leading up to Christmas, bringing Santa to the children, and for Jindalee Schools carols night. The Santa Sleigh is also hired for local businesses Xmas Parties, and Xmas in July.
And we ran the barbecue for the Open Day at The QCL Riverside Parklands at Seventeen Mile Rocks.
